Now I'm offering a six-month online program so we can study the Course together and, most important, you can practice its teachings of peace and joy in your life every day. 

What is A Course in Miracles?

A Course in Miracles (ACIM) is a spiritual self-study program designed to shift your thinking from fear to love. Described as “spiritual psychotherapy,” it teaches you to choose and change your thoughts, gaining a new perspective on your oneness with God/Spirit, and leading to a more joyful and enriching life.

While the Course uses Christian language, it’s metaphysical and ecumenical in nature. It teaches that we have two minds: one based in fear and the other based in love. By consciously choosing love, we undo guilt and heal our relationships with ourselves and others.

The Course was first published in 1975, has been translated into more than two dozen languages and is studied worldwide. It’s the foundation for many of the New Thought principles by some of the world’s best-known authors and teachers.

This six-month program will explore chapters of the Course and its key teachings. Even if you've never studied the Course before, you can join in with no problem because the themes and teachings repeat from chapter to chapter. Plus, you'll be joining a group of spiritual seekers who are all learning and growing together. 

We'll cover healing the mind and body, dealing with anger and attack, choosing love over fear and gaining a new perspective on life events by making small changes in your thinking.

It's one thing to read the Course. Now it's time to live it. 

 

A Course in Miracles will remind you who you are as a sacred spirit. It'll turn old belief systems and grievances upside down. It'll invite you to take a fresh look at your relationships, and it will reassure you that you're not alone.

A lot of people say that studying the Course feels like coming home. I agree. Sometimes I pick it up and turn to a paragraph—any paragraph—just to feel the energy of it. It always feels like a warm rain, like being bathed in light.

Starting July 11, we'll meet every week by Zoom to study the text of the Course. 

You can choose from two different study groups: 

• One meets Tuesdays from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Eastern. (Currently studying Chapter 17)

• The other meets Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Eastern. (Currently studying Chapter 23)

If you've never studied the Course before, it's okay....I'll make sure you get up to speed with where we are in the text.

 

Each weekly Zoom session is 90 minutes, which gives us time to to do a guided meditation, discuss the teachings and, equally important, talk about how to apply them in your life. The more you participate, the more you'll get from the program. The best part of the discussion comes through sharing situations, questions, and stories about how the Course is making a difference for you. 

 

 

No matter what work you do, where you live, or how old you are, your true purpose is to “teach only love, for that is what you are.”

Q. When are the Zoom sessions?

A. One group meets Tuesdays from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Eastern time. The other meets on Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Eastern time. With your six-month registration, you can attend either or both.

  

Q. What if I can’t make one of the sessions?
A. That’s okay. I’ll send you a recording afterward. The success of the class does depend on participation, so please use the recordings as a backup only if you absolutely can't attend. 

 

Q. Will I feel overwhelmed if this is my first experience of A Course in Miracles?
A. We’ll build on the basic teachings of the Course over time. If there’s any sense of overwhelm, let me know and we’ll address it.
